I used my food processor for the second time in over a year! This dish was inspired by an entree Cyrus had at Eve, an excellent restaurant in Ann Arbor, MI.

Purity and the Awakening
The lotus flower is a symbol of purity. The flower starts as a small flower down at the bottom of a pond, in the mud and muck. It then grows towards the surface of the water, towards the light, and fully blooms into a beautiful and vibrant flower.
I connect with this flower spiritually because of my Buddhist up-bringing and also because it symbolizes my tenacious eagerness to grow and thrive as good person in a world full of turmoil. This blog will chronicle my journey.
